This report investigates the effects of dormancy on missile systems/subsystems, identifies current dormant reliability prediction methodologies, and provides an approach for assessing dormant reliability and the effects of dormancy on missile systems. The approach is primarily for use in the early phases of missile system development and operational test and evaluation. (Author)
