The project is concerned with construction and relocation of runways at the Tri-State Airport in Huntington, West Virginia for the purpose of increasing safety and efficiency. Temporary adverse effects expected due to construction include relocation of residences, soil erosion, removal of wildlife, plant cover. Unavoidable permanent adverse effects would be residential relocation, and noise pollution.
