A 60 kW solar power array was designed. It features a multiple deployment/retraction capability and a multiple stowage/restowage capability. It allows for power growth and can provide a wide voltage range. Blanket construction is modular. It is compatible with orbiters, power module-type vehicles and the free flying pallet. It has remote manipulator system and extravehicular activity interfaces.
