A vehicle emissions round robin test program was conducted using a flexible fuel vehicle (FFV) operating on M-85 fuel. During the course of 2 years, the vehicle was transported among the 16 participating laboratories. In all, 20 testing sessions were conducted. During each session, the participants performed two to six Federal Test Procedure (FTP) emissions tests. All participants measured emission rates of hydrocarbon (HC), CO, NOx, methanol, formaldehyde, and acetaldehyde. In addition, several participants measured individual HC species.
