The US Army Aviation Center (USAAVNC) requested the US Army Research Institute Aviation Research and Development Activity (USARIARDA) to provide an in-depth train-the-trainer course to prepare a cadre of selected instructor pilots (IPs) to field the Aircrew Coordination Exportable Training Package. USARIARDA and Dynamics Research Corporation prepared and conducted a 12-day, modified Aircrew Coordination Instructor Course and provided post-training consultation to the cadre. Ten IPs and one nonrated crewmember were trained; five of the IPs, one per each mission-type aircraft (attack, cargo, observation, utility, and fixed wing) were certified by USAAVNC as Aircrew Coordination Trainers. Post-training consultations were held prior and subsequent to the cadre's visit to Fort Campbell, KY.
