The report presents the results of an inquiry into allegations of predatory pricing in the less-than-truckload (LTL) sector of the trucking industry. 'Predatory pricing' is the practice of setting prices below cost so as to drive smaller firms out of the market. This report includes the analysis presented at the hearing as well as additional data on 3 regions not covered in our testimony, plus Department of Justice and Interstate Commerce Commission comments.
