The document presents the results of a program of lateral traction measurements conducted by UMTRI on a sample of three wide-base truck tires. Measurements were made with the tires in three wear states. The UMTRI Flat-Bed Tire Tester was used to perform the measurements. Lateral force and aligning moment response to slip angle were determined at four vertical loads and at two inflation pressures.
