The purpose of the project is three-fold: (1) To further refine the on-board data acquisition system which was initially installed by Sierra Research in a 1991 Chevrolet flexible fuel Lumina; (2) To investigate the possibility of modifying the simulator bench to accommodate a Chevrolet Lumina Electronic Control Unit; and (3) To design, from scratch, a more modern and compact type of data acquisition system for the Toyota Camry.
