Communication sites to serve seven communication modes are proposed for 22 mountain top locations located on National Forest lands in Southeast, Prince William Sound and Kenai peninsula areas of Alaska. Antenna towers and support facilities will detract from the natural beauty of the areas. No road construction is involved. All sites will be served by helicopters. Maintenance and refueling will be done by helicopter, which may temporarily frighten wildlife within the area.
