The report gives an analysis of hourly counts made at 50 representative sites in Great Britain. The distribution of hourly flows is described and its form and characteristics are discussed. Empirical relationships are obtained for estimating representative hourly flows and peak flows when a fraction of the traffic data for the year is known. (Author)
