The objectives of the review are to identify the exact nature of and review the work relating to driver stress, its causes and the ways in which it might be reduced. Other areas to be considered are the role of driver stress in the process of road design and appraisal both at home and overseas, and the potential effects of reduction in stress levels of drivers.
