The project was conducted for two purposes: (1) to analyze and compare the dummy calibration results with the crash test results, and, (2) to assess Part 572 neck variability at a severity level greater than that of the calibration procedures. Volume II covers neck pendulum and HYGE sled testing which was conducted to assess the neck variability at different severity levels.
