A limited flying qualities and operational performance evaluation was conducted on the OH-6A helicopter to determine the suitability for operation under instrument flight conditions. The operational evaluation was performed with and without a Kaiser FP-50B flight director system installed. Tests were conducted at the United States Army Aviation Systems Test Activity, Edwards Air Force Base, California, during the period from February 1972 to August 1973. (Modified author abstract)
