A mathematical model for the trajectory of a purpose carrying target seeking air defense missile, launched against a moving target is described. The model is three dimensional, but the target can only have one arbitrary direction, with constant load factor. The kinetic trajectory of the missile is integrated from the thrust diagram and air resistance. The variation of air density and speed of sound with height was taken into account. The program was implemented for a DEC-10 computer.
