The document is directed to the exploratory development conducted under the Aerospace Biotechnology program element. Some operational problem areas such as crew survivability/vulnerability transcend several major subdivisions of the Technical Objective Document, and some methodologies, such as measurement of effects of operational environments on performance ability of crewmen, are used to achieve the goals described in several areas.
