Performance, mileage, useful volume, and carrying capacity of electric vehicles are largely determined by the driving battery. Investigations have shown that 84% of the working population work within the range of an electric vehicle. Electric vehicles would reduce pollutant emissions and noise quite markedly. In the medium range and long range, hybrid vehicles may make an important contribution. (BWI).
