The power supply subsystem of the first Brazilian satellite is described. This satellite is intended to be the first of a series of four satellites included in the Brazilian Complete Space Mission (MECB) program. A regulated main bus concept was chosen based on system level constraints and future designs. The subsystem equipment responsible for power conditioning, power distribution and protection is described. The equipment responsible for electrical power generation and storage is described.
