Papers are concerned with pedestrian programs and motorist services. These papers present an analysis of campus traffic problems with particular reference to a case study of the University of Colorado, Boulder campus; a description of a mechanical measurement of sidewalk pedestrian volumes and a pedestrian flow map; a discussion of the use of the helicopter and its operating capability for performing medical evacuation, surveillance, and general law enforcement; and the results of a research program that evaluates California's roadside rest area program.
