The liquid propellant rocket engine is for manned aircraft and spacecraft. The engine maintains a constant combustion chamber pressure during throttling at high or low altitudes. The engine has a pintle for varying the exhaust throat area which may be inclined to deflect the exhaust gases for steering purposes.
