The Forest Service Multiresource Inventory Methods Pilot Test is a planned three phase effort, intended as a demonstration of Landsat satellite technology to supplement present methods of conducting recurrent inventories over large areas. The project creates an opportunity to apply earth resources satellite technology for testing and evaluating its potential for use by resource managers and planners. This Final Report contains a management summary of the results of Phase I of the Multiresource Inventory Methods Pilot Test.
