The report describes the construction of a pedestrian park structure over Interstate Highway 5 in Seattle, approximately 225 feet wide, between Spring Street and University Street. The construction of the pedestrian park will allow multiple use of existing right of way, will provide a park in an area devoid of parks and will provide safer pedestrian traffic across the freeway. No significant adverse environmental effects are expected on the surrounding area, but some minor efforts may be experienced by the freeway traffic.
