The city of Fayetteville and Lincoln County, Tennessee, propose to acquire land for airport development, clear zones, approach zones and transitional areas, to extend and mark R/W 1/19, construct and mark segments of a parallel taxiway, and to install MIRL, MITL, REIL and two VASI-2s, and relocate the wind cone and segmented circle. This construction will result in development of basic transport airport which will accomodate 60% of the business jet fleet on a 24-hour basis. Relocation of people is not required. There will be 3 acres of clearing, increase intermittent noise levels, and slightly increased air pollution.
