The report identifies the public use airports in Lane County, Oregon. The only commercial airport in the county, Mahlon Sweet Field, is examined as a regional and local airport facility. Projections of passenger and aircraft operations have been made at five year intervals through 1990. The development of the airport and the subsequent impact on land use is examined. The six general aviation airports in Lane County are also examined. Pilot, aircraft, and population distribution and land use are discussed prior to making recommendations for these airports.
