The report contains the results of tests performed to validate the FHWA FOIL bogie vehicle as a surrogate for testing transformer base luminaire supports. The tests were performed at the FOIL located in McLean, Virginia. Vehicle tests using 1979 Volkswagen Rabbits were compared with tests using the FHWA FOIL bogie. The comparisons included in the report are used to show that the FOIL bogie is validated as a surrogate vehicle for testing transformer base sign and luminaire supports.
