The biological or chemical warfare projectile may be in the form of a bomb, a hand grenade, a rocket or the like. The projectile has an outer container carrying the noxious agent. A neutralizer fills the space between the inner and outer containers. The agent is neutralized when an incomplete fragmentation of the outer container occurs and the inner container is ruptured.
