The report is an extensive summary in Swedish of the VTI Report 302A: 'A comparison of some daylight motorcycle visibility treatments' by Sven Dahlstedt. The study was carried out as an estimation experiment in an outdoor situation during summerlike daylight conditions. The factors treated in the study were of four different kinds: steady light, modulated light, size and color of the motorcycle and color of the rider. In all, more than a hundred combinations of motorcycles, riders and viewing conditions were studied. The overall results give an overview of the effects of a wide range of visibility devices for motorcycles.
