The report presents results of a program of full-scale testing and evaluation of crash attenuators. The attenuators studied were: (1) corrugated steel pipe attenuator, (2) scrap tire attenuator, (3) Eyring attenuator, (4) tire/sand attenuator, and finally two tests were conducted to determine the effects of curbs on vehicle trajectory.
