The National Aerospace Laboratory (NAL) is preparing to conduct flight tests for gust load alleviation technology using an experimental airplane. The structural characteristics of the airplane are needed to design the gust load alleviation system. Ground Vibration Tests (GVT) of the Dornier 228-200 airplane were therefore carried out for 1 month from March 15, 1994. In this paper, we describe the GVT and the results.
