The study was a follow-up of 1,326 negligent drivers who had their first contact with the Department of Motor Vehicles between Sep 1955 and Feb 1956. The contact had resulted in either a suspension or a revocation of their drivers license. The subjects' driver records were examined over a six-year period to determine the extent of driving by suspended or revoked drivers. (Author)
