The report describes the channel improvement which consists of a two-lane, two-level channel into York River; the inbound lane 50 feet deep by 500 feet wide and the outbound lane 37 feet deep by 250 feet wide between the 50-foot contour in Chesapeake Bay to the vicinity of the American Oil Company's marine terminal. Environmental impacts are discussed.
