The project consists of reconstruction of a two-lane highway into a four-lane highway for a length of 9.6 miles. Environmental impacts include the acquisition of right-of-way and relocation or removal of approximately 20 homes, 5 mobile homes, and 5 businesses, traffic noise increases to residents along the roadway, and visual impact of cut and fill slopes and billboard removal.
