The safety issues discussed in the report are engine fan rotor assembly design, certification, manufacturing, and inspection; maintenance and inspection of engine fan rotor assemblies; hydraulic flight control system design, certification, and protection from uncontained engine debris; cabin safety, including infant restraint systems; and aircraft rescue and firefighting facilities.
