Modeling techniques were used to simulate airframe combat damage. Structural analyses were conducted to assess the deferrability and field repairability of the simulated damage cases. A methodology was developed to assess airframe combat damage in the field. Concepts for interim repair or airframe combat damage were investigated. (Author).
