Developing 21st century aerospace leaders will begin in the traditional way, with precommissioning education and training. Effective education in the basics of aerospace power and military principles will be more crucial than ever. Colonels Drohan and Murray propose an integration of the commissioning sources, led by the Air Force Academy, to produce a curriculum that more strongly emphasizes aerospace-power strategy while maintaining each source's unique character.
