This report presents the design of the power control system for a basic single-spool turboshaft engine and the variations possible with this basic design. These variations cover engines with outputs of 60, 90, and 120 horsepower, recuperated and nonrecuperated versions, along with direct drive and geared output speeds. Included are schematic diagrams, description of the fuel control scheduling and governing methods, estimated engine fuel schedules, and a brief discussion of those changes which have been made to the power control system since the submission of the main engine design report.
