This report contains color, luminance and retroreflectivity data of Masterbuilders Lumimark Safety Traffic Marking System. This report details a demonstration installation of the product in Wisconsin on SH 59 in Transportation District 2, Waukesha County. The product is a cementious pavement marking material with interagrel color and glass beads that is applied in conjunction with Portland Cement pavements. A groove is milled into the pavement and the product is placed into the groove. The findings were that the Lumimark system had good performance in retroreflectivity and white color readings but was low in luminance and yellow color readings. The cost of the product installed was higher than an epoxy paint installed at 3 year intervals over 30 years using Present Worth economic analysis. Installation equipment not adequate for long line installation applications.
