The report presents 42.9 hours of valid flight loads data recorded on three F-4J aircraft assigned to the Navy Flight Demonstration Team (Blue Angels). The data includes both practice sessions and official flight demonstrations during the months of May and June 1970. Histograms, graphs, and tables are used to describe the load histories of the aircraft during the study. In addition, data comparisons are made of the flight loads recorded at three different locations on the aircraft structure, and these loads are also compared to load counts recorded by the Navy statistical counting accelerometer. As a result of this study, the Navy counting accelerometer transducer was relocated to the center of gravity of all the Navy Flight Demonstration Team F-4J aircraft. Additional important recommendations are made as a result of this study. (Author)
