This report presents model study results of proposed riverbed stabilization in the vicinity of bridge piers for the Illinois Central Gulf railroad bridge (formerly the Illinois Central Railroad) (IC) spanning the Missouri River near Omaha, NE. The objective of study was to determine the effects on the downstream channel of stabilization of the bed around a bridge pier.
