A discussion of a 60 meter dirigible built in Germany, which has logged 8,000 flight hours, is presented. The Bonn government is funding a 120 meter craft with a payload of 30 tons. The advantages of the commercial use of airships as opposed to aircraft are examined. The marketing of airships is also discussed.
