The intent of this program was to demonstrate the feasibility of a lightweight goggle which possessed a unique 'flip-up' capability and utilized the existing Generation II or (Gen III) lightweight image intensifier assembly. The contract consisted of the design, fabrication, test, and delivery of two Aviation Goggles with two minor design iterations.
