The definition of a space shuttle craft is discussed as a space object as opposed to an aircraft. It concludes that the take-off configuration of the space shuttle is a space object, and that all fuel tanks, boosters, etc. attached to the shuttle craft remain space objects until they fall back to earth's surface, and that the shuttle craft (also called the space orbiter) preserves its property as a space object after starting back from orbit to earth, and does so until its landing.
