A series of flight tests were carried out to visualize the boundary layer transition on a wing of the FUJI FA-200X. The transition location was marked out by use of sublimating chemicals. The agreement between theoretical and experimental results was very good. The transition Reynolds number was about 1.3 million. The experimental procedure and the theoretical approaches are presented.
