It is proposed to construct a bypass of the city of Kenton, Ohio, Hardin County, for U.S.R. 30S, U.S.R. 68, and S.R. 31 and remove these routes from the highway system through the city of Kenton. Length of the proposed bypass is approximately 8.16 miles and will ultimately provide a four-lane limited access highway. This bypass will reduce noise and congestion in the City of Kenton. The traveling public will benefit from the safety of a new highway. Land use near the interchanges may change from general farming to commercial or industrial. There will be a loss of general farming land for construction of a bypass.
