The U.S. Army Defense Ammunition Center and School (USADACS), Validation Engineering Division (SMCAC-DEV), was tasked by USADACS, Transportation Engineering Division (SMCAC-DET), to conduct rail impact tests to verify the safety of the loading procedures mentioned within this report. This report contains the procedures, results, and recommendations from the tests conducted. As tested, the improved dunnage method of bracing in commercial containers successfully passed rail impact testing.
