The West Seattle Freeway Design Study examines the entire freeway route and its relationship to the larger Seattle traffic circulation pattern in order to resolve the broad questions of moving people and goods east and west between West Seattle and the highway connections at Alaskan Freeway and Interstate 5. Included are: Site analysis, planning goals and objectives and design standards, development of conceptual alternatives, and development of recommended concept and design alternatives.
