The five papers in this report deal with the following areas: analysis of probable impacts of users' fees on Minnesota's Great Lakes shipping; RCTFC-freight terminal network of the intermodal age; the use of high-speed vessels in urban ferry service; issues and economic evaluation; economic viability of the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Seaway system with particular reference to the growth potential of Burns Waterway Harbor, Indiana; and, potential revenues for inland ports to match federal maintenance costs.
