This study is funded through a Grant Agreement between the Government of the United States of America, acting through the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (TDA), and the Government of the Republic of Macedonia acting through the Ministry of Transport and Communication (Grantee). The Grantee has delegated the Fund for National and Regional Roads (Fund) to monitor the progress of the study and approve invoices for payments. On May 18, 2000, the Ministry of Transport and Communications entered into contract with Bechtel International, Inc. (Bechtel) to perform the Feasibility Study for the Toll Roads Public-Private Partnership Project. The contract was officially approved by TDA on June 14, 2000.
