This report includes 15 papers that explore the quality of automated pavement distress data collection, pavement maintenance prioritization, long-term pavement performance profile data for flexible pavements, user-oriented model for pavement funding decisions, integrating environmental perspectives into pavement management, and axle load spectra in the Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide. This issue of the TRR also examines managing network-level performance goals of pavement infrastructure systems, improved crack prediction methodology, mechanistic-empirical modeling in network-level pavement management, impact of construction costs on long-term pavement performance loss, infrastructure assessment, a management framework for rural roads in developing countries, a calibration procedure for the U.K. Highways Agency traffic-speed deflectometer, precision of circular track meter and dynamic friction tester, and distress guidelines and condition rating to improve network management.
