The next generation combat aircraft with advanced aerodynamic and control features will have combat maneuver capability which will impose multiaxial accelerations on the aircrew. Advanced aircrew systems will be required for restraint, support, and mobility during these combat conditions. New concepts for these systems have been defined, but tests under representative dynamic conditions are necessary to evaluate the effectiveness of these concepts when implemented. (Author)
