A powered glider flight was carried out in the Nepalese Himalya to assess the feasibility of soaring for meteorological studies. Temperature, humidity, and wind of the thermally driven mountain valley wind circulation in the Kali Gandaki Valley were measured. Data processing procedures are described and results are presented.
